Ted told us that he had been a military commander during the time of Queen Victoria's
reign. He talks about the futility of war and about his life in the army. He also
dicusses the way that we revert to our essential status of equality upon our return
to the Spirit World losing the transient role and status which we had occupied on the earth
plane. He comments upon the present and future role of monarchies. He also talks a little
about the processes involved in rebirth and about the value of earthly experience as
a means for spiritual growth and development.

Hai talks about our oneness with the One Mind and the difficulty of approaching
the experience of Its reality with our conceptual minds. He also talks of the difficulty
in general of imparting spiritual experiences to others and about the

The Diplomat
An amusing and quick witted spirit came through one night and explained that he had
been a diplomat in his former life on earth. He speaks about his earthly life and comments
upon his experiences. He speaks about the power and influence of the Britain of his
day and reflects upon this. He makes the connection that even as individuals we all have
some power and control over others and that we should recognise the responsibility which
this carries.

Hai on Testing Everything Against the Principle of Love
Hai talks about the importance of questionning everything that comes to us, from
whatever source and testing it against our sincere understanding of the Truth and Love, accepting
responsibility for our own choices and actions. He talks also of the distortions which
have occured through Religions yet emphasises their role in providing alternative paths
suited to different people in leading them to the One Mind.

century. He was a carpenter before his cousin left him money and land. He described his
life as being comfortable and luxorious before he squandered his wealth on gambling on
horses, etc. He explained that he was not used to a life of luxury and so had no
concept of money, never thinking the "pot will run dry". He said that he had learnt the
importance of the purposeful and responsible wise management of wealth. Henry also

Harriet said that she lived during the late 18th to early 19th centuries. She spoke about
her marriage of convenience and her life of intrigue at the Royal Court. She explained
how she and her ladies used to gather information at Balls and Banquets on the nobility and other
prominent people of the day. The information was used to advance her own power and
influence. She discussed karma and how it applied in her own case. She explained that
she had learnt from her own misuse of information and power and that her skills had been
transmuted to be now used for good.

Jeremiah came through with much coughing, spluttering and humour. He talked about
his life as a beggar standing out in the damp and rain. He explained how some people
had looked down on him and others were kind; he felt their love and compassion. He said
that he should have been more kindly back sometimes but he was focussed on gaining his
penny.
He reflected that he met a lot of folks. Some were wealthy, but the compassion of the
wealthy came too easy sometimes. They didn't miss what they gave. He understood later
that it was the people who gave him their time , their love and compassion, who were
giving him the real gift of gold.
He reflected that being poor didn't give him a true perspective of what was really
important because he was always after his penny. On entering the Spirit World Guides
asked him if he had found his time fruitful. He had to admit that it could have been
more fruitful. But they did say he had fulfilled a role as he had given people an
opprtunity to decide what to do about him and to show compassion to him and people
like him.

jobs. He explained that in a sense people in the Spirit Land were more emotional in that
they connected with each other by thought and emotion. He talked about working with those
